Preparing trunks on Prunus mahaleb

I did start preparing trunks on mahaleb from this year. Many people warned me that this is dangerous. So far everything is ok. But if I would do wiring result could be bad... . It's necessary to understand how much species and individual can take. In the past I had some hard lesons about horticulture, but slowly I'm starting to have good results. I'm happy.
